Steps To Reduce Your Stress Levels

Around 1 in 4 people out of the majority of the world population will suffer with a mental illness of some kind and the effects are often associated with stress. In some unfortunate cases, the effects of stress can be fatal while in others it can be quite disabling. Even a person suffering with panic may feel a strong sense of not being able to do certain tasks, for fear of experiencing a panic attack at any time. Heart attacks, cancer, various syndromes like irritable bowel, skin disorders, colds, headaches, aches and pains, asthma, strokes and the list goes on, have all been linked to stress at some point, yet a person suffering a heart attack may only be experiencing the same amount of stressful situations as a person that suffers only headaches. After examining how stress affected me and observing how it affected those around me I began devising and implementing certain alternative methods into my daily practice with a view of minimising my stress levels.
