The Glad Tidings of Great Joy
Many have professed the popular biblical verse from Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of the Lord is my strength" without necessarily understanding the meaning of what they profess. Joy is an expression of the Spirit in the New Testament. The word joy in the Greek is "chara" and it is derived from another Greek word, "charis" which means grace.
